I Created a #GrimesArtKit Music Video

I’ve been a big fan of Grimes since my kid introduced me to her music, and I’ve been dabbling with DAZ Studio since the times of Victoria 3, so when the opportunity arose for creative people to use the #GrimesArtKit provided by Grimes and the free #Daz3D keyed scenes to use in conjunction with the art kit, I was intrigued. It took me a while to produce what I’ve done, because I’ve been busy with other projects that are higher priority, but I stole a few hours here and there. The embedded video above is the result. It’s my first ever produced music video, and of course I can only lay claim to a small portion of the credit, but I still feel proud of my accomplishment and wouldn’t mind trying something like this again, if the opportunity arises.

Watching the video now, I see things I’d have liked to have done differently, if I’d felt like spending more time on it. I do need to finish editing my novel. But if there’s a next time, I’ll use what I learned from this experience to do better. I’d also appreciate any feedback from those who watch the video, as long as it’s constructive.

Thanks for watching!
